After last night's qualifying matches for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, another team has secured a spot in the final stage.
According to **Modern.az**, the French national team has become the next team to qualify for the World Cup.
Thus, the 29 teams that have so far qualified for the final stage of the World Cup, which will be held in the USA, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19 next year, are as follows:
France, Egypt, Algeria, Ghana, Cape Verde, South Africa, Qatar, England, Saudi Arabia, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Uruguay, Colombia, Paraguay, Morocco, Tunisia, Japan, New Zealand, Iran, Argentina, Uzbekistan, Korea, Jordan, Australia, Ecuador, and Brazil.
For the first time in history, 48 teams will compete in the main stage of the 2026 World Cup.
