Information has been disseminated in the Italian press regarding the potential postponement of the "Napoli" – "Qarabağ" match, scheduled for the 5th round of the UEFA Champions League, due to weather conditions.
Modern.az reports that local authorities have issued an "orange level" weather warning due to the threat of heavy rain and storms in the region where the match is to be held.
Against this backdrop, possibilities of some sporting events being cancelled or postponed have emerged.
Italy's "MeteoWeb" portal has reported that a certain risk exists for the "Napoli–Qarabağ" match due to unstable weather in the region. The publication notes that the fate of the match could be evaluated at the last moment due to the intensity of rain and wind.
However, "CalcioNapoli24", a website known for its proximity to the "Napoli" club, has stated, citing official sources, that the postponement of the match is currently not on the agenda. According to the information, the "Diego Armando Maradona" stadium will be open as planned, and all preparations for the match are continuing.
It should be noted that the final decision will depend on how the weather conditions change in the coming hours.
