The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has announced the final composition of the pots for the draw of the World Cup final stage.
Modern.az reports that the draw will be held on December 5.
Pot 1: Canada, Mexico, USA, Spain, Argentina, France, England, Brazil, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany;
Pot 2: Croatia, Morocco, Colombia, Uruguay, Switzerland, Japan, Senegal, Iran, South Korea, Ecuador, Austria, and Australia;
Pot 3: Norway, Panama, Egypt, Algeria, Scotland, Paraguay, Tunisia, Ivory Coast, Uzbekistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and South Africa;
Pot 4: Jordan, Cape Verde, Ghana, Curaçao, Haiti, New Zealand, and 6 teams that will qualify through the play-offs.
Path A: Italy/Northern Ireland - Wales/Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Path B: Ukraine/Sweden - Poland/Albania.
Path C: Turkey/Romania - Slovakia/Kosovo.
Path D: Denmark/Macedonia - Czech Republic/Ireland.
Intercontinental play-offs
Path A: New Caledonia - Jamaica/DR Congo.
Path B: Bolivia/Suriname/Iraq.
It should be noted that the play-off semi-finals will be held on March 26, 2026, and the final matches on March 31, 2026.
The final stage of the FIFA World Cup will be held in June-July 2026 in the USA, Canada, and Mexico .
