Modern.az reports that these statements were made by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in response to questions from business representatives from various countries at an event titled "Breakfast with the Leadership of Azerbaijan" within the framework of the annual meeting of the Davos World Economic Forum.
The head of our state, noting that either a World or European Championship will be held in Azerbaijan every year, stated: "This will, to some extent, create a balance with our summer event – Formula 1 – which has attracted great interest for over 10 years and plays a significant role in increasing the number of tourists. After the first Formula 1, the increase was 20 percent".
