Approximately 1300 fans from Azerbaijan will watch the "Liverpool” - "Qarabağ” match live today at England's “Anfield" stadium.
This was stated by Anar Hajiyev, press secretary of "Qarabağ", in a statement to Modern.az.
He noted that all Azerbaijani fans traveled from Baku to the city of Liverpool at their own expense.
"Approximately 1300 fans will support our team at the stadium. All fans purchased tickets with their own funds and covered all travel-related expenses themselves",- Anar Hajiyev said.
It should be noted that tonight, the 8th and final round of the UEFA Champions League League phase will be played. In this round, “Qarabağ” will face England's “Liverpool” club away. The match, which will take place at "Anfield" stadium, will be officiated by FIFA referee Ivan Krujlyak from Slovakia. The game will start at midnight.
