Last night, the final - 8th round matches of the League phase of the UEFA Champions League were held.
Modern.az reports that all 18 matches were played simultaneously.
Azerbaijani representative "Qarabağ" lost to local "Liverpool" in England - 0:6.
Turkey's "Galatasaray" club lost to another English representative "Manchester City" - 0:2.
Nevertheless, both "Qarabağ" and "Galatasaray" managed to secure their names in the next round.
It should be noted that those who ranked in the top 8 in the CL directly qualified for the 1/8 finals, those who ranked 9th-24th gained the right to play in the "play-offs". While those who ranked 25th-36th concluded their participation in European competitions for this season.
