The Azerbaijan Canoe and Rowing Federation is expanding its areas of activity.
Modern.az reports that a relevant decision was adopted at the general meeting of the federation regarding this.
This step aims to ensure the development of water sports in our country on a single platform, increase flexibility in management, and achieve more effective representation in the international arena. At the same time, increasing popularity, ensuring mass participation, and attracting adolescents and youth are key priorities.
Accordingly, the name of the federation will be changed to Azerbaijan Su İdmanı növləri Federasiyası (Azerbaijan Water Sports Federation).
