In 2025, Azerbaijani athletes won a total of 2113 medals in European and World Championships, cup competitions, and other international tournaments. 

According to Modern.az, this was reflected in the report on the activities of the Cabinet of Ministers in 2025.

It is noted that this indicator is considered a new record in the country's sports history.

Of the medals won, 613 were gold, 616 silver, and 884 bronze. 1443 medals were obtained in Olympic sports, 589 in non-Olympic sports, and 81 in Paralympic, Special Olympic, and Deaflympic sports.
