Before the event began, the cherished memory of those martyred in the 44-day Patriotic War was honored with a minute of silence. Subsequently, the national anthems of Azerbaijan and Türkiye were played.

Following this, the official part of the event commenced. The first address was delivered by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Farid Gayibov.

In his speech, the Minister discussed the youth policy implemented in Azerbaijan. He emphasized that the foundation of this policy was laid by National Leader Heydar Aliyev and that this policy is successfully continued today by the head of state, Ilham Aliyev.

F. Gayibov also touched upon the Youth Week held on the eve of February 2, Youth Day, noting that President Ilham Aliyev met with these young people and that young individuals excelling in various fields were awarded. The Minister stressed that one of the award categories also covers the field of innovation.

At the end of his speech, the Minister expressed his gratitude to everyone involved in the organization of the "Eurasia Young Businessmen Forum-EYBF 2025".

“The forum we are participating in today has also been organized at a very high level. I thank everyone who contributed. I believe that this forum will conclude with new acquaintances and successful outcomes.

Finally, taking this opportunity, I express my gratitude to my colleague Osman Aşkın and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Türkiye for supporting this forum. I wish you all success.”

Subsequently, the floor was given to Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA).

Orkhan Mammadov noted that the Small and Medium Business Development Agency works with youth and young entrepreneurs in various fields:

“We provide assistance to young people through various support tools and mechanisms. We have infinite faith in their potential to create change. Because every new business, new step, startup, idea, and initiative is an investment directed towards the future of our country.”

He noted that the main goal of the forum is not merely to establish connections:

“Certainly, beneficial connections will be established here, but most importantly, it is about creating a spirit – a spirit of honesty, diligence, and legitimate earnings. The direction guided by this spirit is the path to developing sustainable, fair, and creative entrepreneurship in the Eurasian geography.”

Dr. Enis Eminoğlu, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Türkiye, delivered a speech, expressing his pleasure at visiting Baku and spoke about the importance of the event. He conveyed the greetings of the Minister of Youth and Sports of Türkiye to Farid Gayibov, the Minister of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan.

Mağsum Usta, Chairman of Young MUSIAD, noted in his speech that investment today is not merely about money.

“Investment means knowledge, technology, flexibility, and trust. It stems not so much from the opportunities a country or investor possesses, but from the value and partnership it can create. From this perspective, the Eurasian space serves as a large laboratory for young investors and the business world. In this vast geography where different cultures and forms of production intersect, cooperation is no longer a choice but a reflex for the future. As young people, we strive to turn this reflex into a network. With 55 different branches within the country and 40 abroad, we have become not only a youth organization but also a network of ideas, production, and initiatives. We implement projects to ensure that each of our members can have a say not only in their own country but also on their own continent,” he stated.

Rashad Jabirli, Chairman of the MUSIAD Azerbaijan Board of Directors, highlighted the power of youth unity in his speech.

R. Jabirli emphasized that although the world changes, the essence of entrepreneurship remains constant:

“Today, the youth of Azerbaijan and Türkiye represent a global force. A seed has been sown that will bear fruit for Azerbaijan and Türkiye all over the world. Our main goal is to create value.”

Following this, the official part of the event concluded. Subsequently, panel discussions were held on various topics.
