Europe's demand for gas is so high that they will remain a gas importer for many years to come.
These words were stated by economist Natig Jafarli to Modern.az.
He noted that European countries imported and consumed 450-500 billion cubic meters of gas before the start of the Russia-Ukraine war. Although there are gas producers like Norway, the Netherlands, and Britain, the continent's high demand for gas necessitates imports.
The expert stated that alternative energy will not significantly reduce dependence on gas in the next 30 years.
Only if the safe use of small mobile-type nuclear power plants becomes possible, can the need for blue fuel be reduced.
