It has been reported that in the future, not only new imports from Baku but also the export of Armenian products to Azerbaijan may be possible.
Modern.az reports that Armenia's Minister of Economy, Gevork Papoyan, made a statement regarding this.
“Currently, we have obtained a sufficiently competitive price from “Georgian Railways” for transit. I believe that both Georgia and Azerbaijan will announce the next successful agreement,” Papoyan stated during his conversation with journalists in Garni village.
According to the minister, Armenia can export aluminum, foil, fruits and vegetables, certain types of beverages, as well as various types of textile products to Azerbaijan. Papoyan added that a conducted study revealed the existence of products exported by Armenia and imported by Azerbaijan.
