In Azerbaijan, the term of tax relief for media entities is extended for another 3 years.
Iqtisadiyyat.az reports that this is reflected in the amendment to the Tax Code approved by President Ilham Aliyev.
It should be noted that the 3-year tax exemption period for media entities was set to expire on January 1, 2026. This period is extended for another 3 years.
Thus, for a period of 3 years starting from January 1, 2026, the incomes obtained by media entities (excluding audiovisual media entities) from their activities (including advertising revenues), as well as financial assistance provided by the p (institution) determined by the relevant executive authority, are exempt from tax.
