The year 2026 has started unsuccessfully for Vahid Alakbarov, the owner of Russia's "Lukoil" company. 

Modern.az reports that the wealth of the 75-year-old Russian businessman of Azerbaijani origin has decreased by 2.72 billion dollars since January 1. 

Currently, the wealth of the main shareholder of "Lukoil" company amounts to 27.4 billion dollars.
