Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban stated that the US military operation in Venezuela and the arrest of President Nicolas Maduro could lead to an increase in oil prices on global markets.
Modern.az reports that he shared this on his social media account.
According to him, the Hungarian government has already held urgent consultations with representatives of the energy sector: "Today, we held consultations with key players in Hungary's energy sector to protect Hungary from the consequences of the Venezuelan crisis. This crisis could lead to price increases. The Hungarian government is working on this."
