Chinese electric car manufacturer BYD has introduced a new brand.
Modern.az reports that, according to documents from China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the new brand will be named Linghui.
Under the Linghui brand, BYD will offer variants such as the Linghui e5, based on the popular Qin PLUS sedan, the M9, based on the Xia DM-i multi-purpose vehicle, and the Linghui e9, a version of the Han electric sedan.
The Linghui brand was launched by BYD to update its vehicle fleet and taxis and maintain market competitiveness.
Under the new brand, vehicles are also planned to be exported to Azerbaijan.
