Gold hit a record high: its gram reached $160

The price of gold continued to renew its historical record.

Modern.az reports that the price of an ounce of gold for February on the world exchange rose to 4955 dollars.

Silver also increased in price, reaching the level of 99.19 dollars.

It should be noted that the observed increase in gold prices is mainly explained by the weakening risk appetite in global markets and investors turning to safe-haven assets.
