The preparation and submission of financial statements will be carried out through the “Digital State Finance” information system.
Modern.az reports that this issue was reflected in the draft law on amendments to the law “On Accounting”, which was discussed at today's meeting of the Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship Committee of the Milli Majlis.
According to the draft law, since the “Digital State Finance” information system also covers activities in the field of accounting (including the accounting of state financial and non-financial assets), the phrase “e-accounting” information system” in the law will be replaced with the phrase “information system of the p (institution) determined by the relevant executive authority”.
Furthermore, the information system of the p (institution) determined by the relevant executive authority will ensure the electronic maintenance of accounting records by accounting entities and the preparation and submission of financial statements, including consolidated financial statements.
According to current legislation, the placement of software ensuring the maintenance of accounting records in the “e-accounting” information system is envisaged. The draft law proposes to remove this provision from the legislation.
For your information, the information system of the p (institution) determined by the relevant executive authority mentioned above refers to the “Digital State Finance” information system.
