The procedure for calculating mandatory medical insurance premiums for those working in the non-state and non-oil-gas sector has been changed.
Modern.az reports that Zaur Aliyev, Chairman of the Board of the State Agency for Mandatory Medical Insurance, stated this at a press conference held regarding the results of 2025 and future targets.
He said that 2 percent will be calculated by the employer from the part of the employee's salary up to 2500 manats, and 0.5 percent from the part exceeding 2500 manats. Also, 2 percent will be calculated by the employee from the part of the salary up to 2500 manats, and 0.5 percent from the part exceeding 2500 manats.
The Chairman of the Board reminded that this amount was previously 8000 manats.
