25 of the road projects mentioned in the “State Program for the Improvement of Transport Infrastructure in Baku and Surrounding Areas for 2025–2030” are related to the construction of road infrastructure.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Rahman Hummatov, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport, at a round table dedicated to the implementation of the “State Program for the Improvement of Transport Infrastructure in Baku and Surrounding Areas for 2025–2030” for the past year.
According to him, currently, the construction of four of these projects (Bilgah–Novkhani–VAZ Circle–Khirdalan–M-4; Academic Hasan Aliyev–“Koroglu” metro station; Khagani Rustamov–Agha Nematulla; VAZ Circle–M4 Shamakhi road) is underway: “This year, the construction of 4 more roads is planned to commence. These roads are Mohammad Khiyabani–Ring Road-1; M4–Khirdalan (center) tunnel; Khirdalan Circle; Abdulvahab Salamzade–Ziya Bunyadov.
