The next major step is being taken with the aim of modernizing Azerbaijan's water management infrastructure and ensuring efficient use of water resources.
Modern.az reports that the "Regional Water Amelioration Service" Public Legal Entity has announced an open tender for the installation of modern measuring devices in the Samur-Absheron system and the Khanarkh canal.
Along the Samur-Absheron system and the Khanarkh canal, the installation of high-precision water flow meters is planned. The estimated cost of the project is 2,830,272.50 AZN.
The implementation of these devices will increase transparency in water distribution, minimize losses, and enable real-time monitoring.
