The release of the "Export Review" by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) regarding the results of 2025 has been published.
Modern.az reports that, according to the review, in January-December 2025, Azerbaijan's non-oil sector exports increased by 8.1% compared to the corresponding period of 2024, reaching 3.6 billion US dollars. During this period, food product exports increased by 18.4%, amounting to 1.2 billion US dollars.
In January-December 2025, exported sugar increased by 57.4% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, fruits and vegetables by 27.4%, aluminum and products made from it by 24.2%, cotton yarn by 19.3%, chemical industry products by 8%, and fats and oils of plant and animal origin by 2%.
Last year, exports of agricultural products increased by 26.7% to 1 billion US dollars, while exports of agro-industrial products amounted to 314.7 million US dollars. Overall, the combined exports of agricultural and agro-industrial products increased by 18.9% to 1.3 billion US dollars.
During the reported period, gold (326.2 million US dollars) ranked first in the list of non-oil sector goods exported. Tomatoes (192.5 million US dollars) ranked second, and urea (170.8 million US dollars) ranked third in this list.
In December 2025, persimmon (36.4 million US dollars) ranked first in the list of non-oil sector goods exported. Gold (29.2 million US dollars) ranked second, and shelled hazelnuts (20.3 million US dollars) ranked third in this list.
In the twelve months of last year, non-oil sector goods worth 1.2 billion US dollars were exported to the Russian Federation, 597.3 million US dollars to Turkey, 347.9 million US dollars to Georgia, 347.8 million US dollars to Switzerland, and 201 million US dollars to Ukraine.
In December 2025, non-oil sector goods worth 96.3 million US dollars were exported to the Russian Federation, 51.2 million US dollars to Turkey, 41.4 million US dollars to Georgia, 32.9 million US dollars to Switzerland, and 10.8 million US dollars to Ukraine.
In the ranking of non-state exporting entities prepared for January-December 2025, the top ten companies included: Representative Office of "Azerbaijan International Mining Company Limited" in the Republic of Azerbaijan, "Prime Cotton" LLC, "Baku Steel Company" CJSC, "Azerbaijan Sugar Production Association" LLC, "TABATERRA" CJSC, "STP Aluminum" LLC,"Export Stream" LLC,"P-AGRO" LLC,"KHAN-EL" LLC, "AGRARCO" LLC.
The list of state-owned companies participating in non-oil sector export operations is headed by the Marketing and Economic Operations Department of SOCAR. The following companies are then represented in this list: "SOCAR Polymer" LLC, "AzerGold" CJSC, "Azeraluminium" LLC, Gas Export Department of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan, "Azerpambiq Agro-Industrial Complex" LLC, "Socar-Dalğıc" LLC, "Istisu" Mineral Water Plant LLC, "Azerbaijan Railways" CJSC, "SOCAR CAPE" LLC.
In January-December 2025, the Space Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Azercosmos) exported satellite telecommunication services worth 18.1 million US dollars to 43 countries worldwide. The revenue obtained by "Azercosmos" from service exports constituted 66% of its total revenues. In December 2025, "Azercosmos" exported services worth 1.7 million US dollars to 35 countries worldwide.
During the reporting period, the top five countries for satellite telecommunication service exports were the United Kingdom with 4.6 million US dollars, Luxembourg with 3.5 million US dollars, Sweden with 1.3 million US dollars, Turkey with 861 thousand US dollars, and Nigeria with 823.9 thousand US dollars.
