In commodity markets, the price of futures for one troy ounce (31.1 grams) of gold has increased.

Modern.az reports, citing exchange data, that on New York's COMEX commodity exchange, the price of February 2026 futures for one troy ounce of gold increased by 3.35%, reaching 5,100.46 US dollars.

On COMEX, the price of March 2026 futures for one ounce of silver also increased by 5.49%, reaching 87.878 US dollars.
