“Azərenerji” OJSC allocates more than 11.7 million manats for the modernization of the electricity grid.
Modern.az reports that “Azərenerji” Open Joint Stock Company has announced a large-scale procurement tender with the aim of ensuring the safety and operational management of electricity transmission lines.
"Traveling Wave Method" devices, which instantly and accurately determine the location of accidents and short circuits occurring in electricity transmission lines, as well as "Online Diagnostics" equipment, which enables real-time monitoring of the lines' condition, will be purchased.
The goal is to increase the level of disaster preparedness in the energy system and to minimize repair time during an accident.
The total amount of the investment is 11,730,528.72 AZN.
