Turkish companies have completed more than 500 construction projects in Azerbaijan.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Turkish Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat at the VII Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey Business Forum held in Georgia's Kakheti region.
According to him, the total value of these projects was close to 18 billion US dollars. He particularly noted the large infrastructure and reconstruction projects implemented for the restoration of this region after Azerbaijan's victory in Karabakh.
Ö. Bolat emphasized that Turkey's construction sector actively participates in foreign projects and the importance of expanding regional cooperation.
The Minister stated that Turkish construction companies have implemented a total of 305 projects in Georgia, the total value of which amounts to 3.5 billion US dollars.
He noted that cooperation between Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Georgia in the fields of transport, energy, and tourism is planned to continue in the future: "This cooperation makes a significant contribution to the economic development of the region." ("Report")
