A meeting of the Economic Council has been held.
Modern.az reports that the Cabinet of Ministers has issued a statement regarding this.
On the agenda of the meeting held under the chairmanship of Ali Asadov, Chairman of the Economic Council and Prime Minister, the urgent issues raised by entrepreneurs regarding the "Judicial and Legal" field and the "State Procurement Procedures" field, prepared by the "Working Group on Reforms for Eliminating Obstacles and Difficulties in Entrepreneurial Activity and Improving the Business Environment", were discussed in detail.
Regarding the issues on the agenda, reports by Natig Amirov, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Working Group, and Khagani Mammadov, Chairman of the Administrative Collegium of the Supreme Court, were heard.
Regarding the issues presented at the meeting, members of the Economic Council and invited guests, including Inam Karimov, Chairman of the Supreme Court, Farid Ahmadov, Minister of Justice, and Elnur Bagirov, Chairman of the State Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control Agency under the President of Azerbaijan, delivered speeches.
Finally, taking into account the opinions and proposals of the meeting participants, decisions were made to prepare amendments to the drafts of relevant normative legal acts and submit them to the government towards resolving the discussed issues, and instructions were given to the relevant agencies.
