The State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President has launched investigations regarding "Azerenerji" OJSC, the Regional Water Reclamation Service of the State Agency for Water Resources of Azerbaijan, and the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads.
Modern.az reports that the investigations initiated by the agency's own initiative are related to cases of violation of competition legislation by natural monopoly subjects.
The subject of the investigations is cases of violation of competition legislation related to the non-submission of financial reports on the results of entrepreneurial activity to the competition authority in the prescribed manner and time, based on the requirements of Article 39.7 of the Competition Code.
It should be noted that natural monopoly subjects must submit financial reports on the results of entrepreneurial activity to the competition authority in the form and manner approved by the p (institution) determined by the relevant executive authority by the 20th day of the month following the end of the quarter.
