Azerbaijan exports gas to 16 countries - Prime Minister

The number of countries to which Azerbaijan exports gas has reached 16.

Modern.az reports that Prime Minister Ali Asadov stated this while presenting the Cabinet of Ministers' report to parliament.

Ali Asadov noted that a total of 25.2 billion cubic meters of gas was exported via export pipelines during 2025. 

“In addition to the European market, cooperation has been developed in new directions, and for the first time, the supply of Azerbaijani gas to Syria has commenced” – he noted. 

“Last year, the number of countries receiving Azerbaijani gas increased to 14.
