Today, the Olive Festival will open in Icherisheher.
On November 1 at 12:00, the solemn opening ceremony of the Olive Festival, organized for the first time in the country's history, will take place in Icherisheher.
Information regarding this was provided to Modern.az by the “Icherisheher” State Historical-Architectural Reserve Department.
The festival will continue until November 2 at 20:00.
The main objective of the event is to promote Azerbaijan's ancient olive-growing traditions, support local producers, and contribute to the formation of a national brand in this field.
Within the framework of the festival, a rich fair program, concerts, open-air plein air sessions for artists, as well as exhibitions will be organized. Guests will not only get acquainted with olives and olive products brought from various regions but also experience interesting cultural and entertaining moments in the historical environment of Icherisheher.
This festival, to be held in the unique atmosphere of Icherisheher, will showcase the unity of tradition and modernity with the participation of local artisans, artists, and musicians.
Additionally, a special entertainment program for children is planned within the festival. Young visitors can look forward to games, creative corners, and engaging master classes.
An exhibition-fair of olives and olive oil with the participation of local and international producers, special olive menus from restaurants operating in Icherisheher, and art corners – all await guests during the festival days.
