The number of visitors to theaters, museums, and libraries in Azerbaijan has been announced.
According to information obtained by Modern.az from the State Statistical Committee, there are currently 29 professional theaters operating in the country.
Regarding the number of theater visitors, according to the State Statistical Committee, this figure is 419 100 people.
The number of museums has also been announced – there are 243 museums operating in the country. The number of museum visitors was 2 687 800 people.
Currently, there are 2914 public libraries in Azerbaijan. Of these, 412 are located in urban areas, and 2502 are in rural areas. The number of library readers is 2 669 min people. Of these, 1 721 min people account for urban areas, and 948 min people account for rural areas.
