November 10 - is Atatürk Remembrance Day.
Who dedicated his 57-year life to the Homeland and the Nation, who moved from front to front and lost no war he participated in,
Who said, “O Turkish Nation, the power you need exists in the noble blood in your veins”,
Who said, “Sovereignty, dominion unconditionally belongs to the Nation” and founded the Grand National Assembly, who wrote a new history in 1923 by establishing the modern, secular, democratic Republic of Turkey,
Mustafa Kemal Pasha Atatürk, who said “Peace at home, peace in the world”, who said “The official language is Turkish”, who said “The true guide in life is science”, who said “Women and men have equal rights”, who said “Human freedom and rights are above all else”, is now remembered by all progressive Turkish people with gratitude, respect, and reverence.
During the years of struggle for the freedom of the Homeland's lands, he fought on difficult fronts, was sent into exile, imprisoned, had a death warrant issued against him, and faced assassination attempts, slander, and defamation...
But nothing could shake his national will. Not even the severe illness he suffered from, which constantly "accompanied" him during difficult struggles, clashes, on battlefields, in rain and snow, in deserts, and in mountains!
Only after the historical sacrifices he endured for the sake of great deeds for his country and people, the great Mustafa Kemal, in his struggle with a long and severe illness, bid farewell to physical life in the early morning hours of November 10, 1938, and moved to his eternal resting place...
May his soul rest in peace!

People who love freedom, liberty, and justice all over the world always remember his memory with respect.
The Italian press, considering him the greatest Commander in the history of world warfare, announced the news of Atatürk's death with these words: “Caesar, Alexander, Napoleon, rise, your elder is coming!”
US Army General Wesley Clark: “As a military man, I am a great admirer of Atatürk. He was an incredible leader... Atatürk was not only a thinker and a strategy expert but also a commander with a strong will. He was the rare person who stopped Churchill's invasion plan launched in 1914. Imagine, only one man stopped this - Atatürk. He ordered his soldiers to fight, to die, and he himself remained on the front with them. All these were very courageous steps. Such leaders come to the world once or twice. Perhaps a leader like Atatürk will never come to Earth again…”
The leader of the Cuban people, Fidel Castro, said: “Atatürk is the only man who governed his country after his death!”
...The great commander, the genius M.K. Atatürk, who fit 11 wars, 24 orders-medals, 7 insignia, 13 books, one country, one state, and millions of free people into his 57-year life, said: “To see me does not necessarily mean to see my face. If you understand and feel my thoughts, my emotions - that is enough".
