Modern.az-ın məlumatına görə, quruluşçu rejissoru və baş rol ifaçısı olan aktyor Hikmət Rəhimov məsələyə münasibət bildirib. O, yaydığı açıqlamada bunları qeyd edib:
"I was forced to answer numerous questions and calls. First, I thank Azerbaijanis – both those living here and compatriots abroad – for their attention and interest in the "Səkkiz" series. Yesterday, I was invited to a meeting with a state institution regarding the series. The name of the institution and the details of the conversation held there should remain confidential, as it is not appropriate to disclose them. They treated me and our work with great respect; thank them.
The age limit for the "Səkkiz" series is +18. The broadcast time is 23:00 on ARB television. It was aired on January 10, 2025. The person responsible for the broadcast was penalized by the television management because profanity was aired during the broadcast."
H.Rəhimov stated that the broadcast of the screen production has also been suspended on television and YouTube:
"Now, let's get to the main point: I cannot understand at all why the broadcast of the series has been suspended on both YouTube and television solely for this reason. I hope the state will respect both us and the wishes of the viewers and decide to restore the series' broadcast next week. Personally, I am eagerly awaiting this. Everyone is waiting with interest; even relevant institutions are watching the series with interest, which is a good thing.
Finally, I once again express my endless gratitude to God for everything."
It should be noted that a few days ago, the ARB channel was penalized because unethical expressions were used in the first episode of the series. The Audiovisual Council announced that the channel's broadcast would be temporarily suspended. It was stated that the institution considered those scenes to be contrary to the requirements of the "Law on Media." As a result, it was decided to suspend the broadcast of the "ARB" channel for 3 hours.
The series "Səkkiz" is filmed in the psychological thriller genre and consists of 12 episodes.
