A total of 50 art schools exist in the liberated territories. Only 11 of them operate in their own territories, while 39 currently continue their activities in other territories.
According to Modern.az, this was stated by Jasarat Valehov, advisor to the Minister of Culture, during today's public hearing of the Science and Education Committee of the Milli Majlis on the topic “Current Situation and Development Prospects of Art Schools”.
Overall, only 32.7 percent of the 211 schools are in a repaired condition. On the other hand, 33.3 percent are partially repaired, and 30.9 percent are completely unrepaired. The share of schools in a dilapidated condition is 3.1 percent.
