The development of modern media is directly linked to high technologies, especially satellite systems and artificial intelligence.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Cihangir İşbilir, Advisor to the Turkish Embassy in Azerbaijan, during his speech at the panel session held within the framework of the Media Forum of the Organization of Turkic States, dedicated to the topic "Sustainable and Preventive Measures Against Increasing Global Information Threats in the Modern Era: The Example of the Media Ecosystem of Turkic States".
"Today, if modern satellite technologies are not developed, it is not possible to develop media either. The impacts of modern technical changes on media should be observed and investigated. Artificial intelligence is a very fast algorithm. Foreign networks have mastered artificial intelligence very well. We must also develop in this direction," he said.
Cihangir İşbilir emphasized that the time has come to resolve the issue of establishing a common international television channel for Turkic states.
It should be noted that in 2014, by the decision of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States (TDT), work began on the broadcasting of a joint television channel for Turkic states, and it was aimed for the channel to start broadcasting in 2016. However, this issue was not resolved later.
