To ensure the activities of media outlets, including “Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting” CJSC, Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company, and the Azerbaijani National Representation of “Mir” Interstate Television and Radio Company, 64.8 million manats are planned to be allocated this year.
Modern.az reports that this is reflected in the “Citizen's Budget Guide” prepared by the Ministry of Finance.
It was stated that 10.9 million manats will be spent on financing measures for conveying our culture to the world community through television, promoting historical and cultural heritage, and developing the theater sector.
It was noted that 1.2 million manats of this fund will be directed towards ensuring the sustainable development of theater, 500 thousand manats towards the preparation of performances in theaters, 1 million manats towards the preparation and broadcasting of programs and commercials related to the promotion of Azerbaijani culture on influential television channels and information portals worldwide, and 8.2 million manats towards the centralized events of the Ministry of Culture.
