On January 5, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev gave an interview to five employees of local television channels.
One of the television journalists who interviewed the head of state is Elmira Musazade, an employee of CBC TV channel.
According to Modern.az, this is the second time Elmira Musazade has participated in an interview with the head of state. She was also among the five local journalists who interviewed the President on January 12, 2022.
Elmira Musazade has been active in journalism for many years. She is primarily known for her reports on political, military, and socio-public topics, as well as materials related to important events occurring outside the country's borders.

The character reference provided by CBC TV about E. Musazade states:
“Elmira Musazade's professional activity is aimed at providing accurate, objective, and balanced information. She is considered one of the journalists who hold significant weight in the media space and adhere to news reporting principles based on reliable sources.”
Elmira Ilgar gizi Musazade started working as a correspondent at CBC TV channel in 2014. At the age of 22, she became the scriptwriter and presenter of the channel's military-patriotic program "Служу Родине" (Serving the Motherland). During the April battles of 2016, she conducted filming in combat zones as a military correspondent. She is one of the journalists who were dispatched to the front line during the 44-day Patriotic War, continuously covered the events, and whose materials were disseminated to international media. During that period, Elmira Musazade was already working as a release editor in the "Foreign Language News" editorial office of the TV channel.
Since July 2021, she has been appointed as the chief editor of the channel's "Author Programs" department.

“A leader is not just a position. It is a responsibility. For war, peace, the future. And in this sense, Azerbaijan is truly fortunate,” Elmira Musazade stated, sharing her impressions of the head of state after her interview with President Ilham Aliyev.
“An interview with the head of state is one of the most important stages in any journalist's career,” E. Musazade added.
According to her, journalists felt a sense of excitement at the beginning of the interview with the head of state, but in the subsequent minutes, the sincerity that arose during the communication with the President dispelled it:
“The interview lasted more than three hours, and so many important messages were conveyed, some of which relate to last year's results, and others to various directions for this year.”

E. Musazade stated that President Ilham Aliyev's interviews and social media posts have always been met with interest, including during the Second Karabakh War, and have been accepted as the most reliable source both domestically and abroad.
The television journalist emphasized that this interview with the head of state also generated great interest among CBC viewers:
“CBC is a television channel broadcasting in Russian, and we see that news and interviews related to Mr. President have always been met with great interest.”
