During the period from the beginning of 2025 until February 15, 2026, a total of 6 (six) platform broadcaster licenses for non-satellite broadcasting were issued, including the television channels “TV1”, “Start Turan”, “Sport TV2”, “CityNet Premiere”, “CityNet Hits”, “Mahnı TV”, and 2 (two) platform broadcaster licenses for non-satellite broadcasting were revoked, including “TVNet Kino” and “Neftçi TV”.
Information on this was provided by the Audiovisual Council in response to an inquiry from Modern.az.
The institution also stated that, as a result of the competition at the beginning of 2025, nationwide terrestrial radio broadcaster licenses were issued to the radio channels “Planet FM” and “Dağla FM”.
