A number of trivial programs have been shut down in the Azerbaijani television space. Two of the programs that were shut down were “Bizimləsən” and “Rəngarəng”, broadcast on ATV.
Modern.az contacted ATV to ascertain whether these programs would continue under different names and whether their presenters would remain with the channel.
In a statement to our website, ATV spokesperson Özal İbrahim stated that for now, the decision has been made to shut down the programs, and additional information will be announced to the public as soon as it becomes available:
“The shutdown of the “Bizimləsən” and “Rəngarəng” programs is an internal decision by the channel's management. Regarding the presenters' activities on the channel, if there are any new developments, information will be provided. I reiterate, currently the decision by the management pertains to the shutdown of the programs".
