In Azerbaijan, the completion of construction of 4 reservoirs in 2025-2027, 9 in 2027-2030, and 13 in 2030-2040 is planned.
Modern.az reports that this was stated at the Baku Water Week.
According to the information, there are 149 reservoirs in Azerbaijan, and their total water capacity is 23577 million cubic meters.
It was noted that the total length of main collectors across the republic is 32023.7 kilometers. The number of main canals in the country is 47, their total length is 2256 kilometers, and their total water discharge capacity is 1321 cubic meters/hour.
