The Ukrainian Armed Forces will continue to strike Russia.
Modern.az reports that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this on his Telegram channel.
"We will continue retaliatory strikes to force Russia into diplomacy", Zelenskyy wrote.
Stating that it is high time to take decisive steps, Zelenskyy called on the US, Europe, G7, and G20 countries to respond to Russia's strikes on Ukraine.
Zelenskyy stated that the massive attack carried out by the Russian Armed Forces on the night of September 28 lasted more than 12 hours. According to him, the Russian army used approximately 500 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and more than 40 missiles, including hypersonic "Kinzhal" missiles.
On the night of September 28, Russian forces launched a combined strike on military facilities in Ukraine. According to reports, more than 100 UAVs were detected in Ukrainian airspace. Additionally, explosions were heard in several other regions of Ukraine, including Sumy, Chernihiv, and Odesa. During the night attack, Russian forces also struck critical infrastructure facilities in the Zaporizhzhia region.
On the morning of September 28, the Ukrainian publication "Strana.ua" reported that Russian "Geran-2" drones had surrounded Kyiv.
Previously, the Russian Armed Forces destroyed Zelenskyy's bunker.
