“A month ago, I was in Moscow for only two days – Saturday and Sunday. I was there on personal business and returned on Monday afternoon”.
Modern.az reports that Armenia's second president, Robert Kocharyan, said this on October 7 at a press conference while commenting on recent reports of his meeting with Sergey Kiriyenko in Russia.
"If I had official meetings, I would probably choose other days of the week. But I understand that as soon as I appear in Moscow, such rumors begin to spread," Kocharyan added.
It should be recalled that, according to the "Hraparak" newspaper, Armenia's second president, Robert Kocharyan, visited Moscow some time ago and met with Sergey Kiriyenko, the official "curating" Armenia in the Kremlin. They discussed Armenia's internal political life, including the elections. According to the newspaper, Kocharyan presented a formula for success in the elections, emphasizing the necessity of uniting the opposition and fighting the government on as broad a front as possible, which entails financial costs.
