Today, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer held a bilateral meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at Downing Street.
Modern.az reports that during the meeting, K. Starmer stated that they have an absolute commitment to preventing Russian attacks against Ukraine. He highly praised Zelensky's determination and courage, but noted that Putin does not want to start negotiations.
K. Starmer added that this week it is possible to increase pressure against Russia's oil and gas sector, and significant progress has already been made. The British head of government stated that Great Britain is Ukraine's closest ally and partner. He added that there is still work to be done, especially in the area of long-range weapons and security guarantees.
