Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Danish Foreign Minister Lars Lökke Rasmussen signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the foreign policy agencies of the two countries in Copenhagen.

Modern.az reports that the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement regarding this.

The document emphasizes the importance of further deepening the partnership between Armenia and Denmark, and the European Union as a whole. The parties intend to continue cooperation towards bringing Armenia closer to European standards, strengthening its sovereignty and resilience, as well as developing democratic institutions.

Within the framework of the Memorandum, regular political consultations between the two countries are planned, as well as the strengthening of dialogue and cooperation in areas of mutual interest such as green transformation, renewable energy, human rights, and culture.

“We have signed a new cooperation agreement. This is an important step towards closer partnership between our countries,” – Lars Lökke Rasmussen stated on social media.
