Negotiations are underway regarding the signing of a final peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan during a meeting with Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili.
The minister noted that the Washington agreement reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan has already yielded a number of practical results.
During the meeting, a positive dynamic in relations between Armenia and Turkey was noted. It was stated that the period of tension in the South Caucasus has ended, and a new era of opportunities that will bring great benefits to the region is beginning.
