The administration of US President Donald Trump and the US Department of State have initially agreed to the sale of up to 173 anti-aircraft missiles to Germany.
Modern.az reports that "Bloomberg" has published information on this matter.
The package also includes additional equipment with a total value of approximately 3.5 billion dollars.
The US Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) has issued a statement confirming the sale of Standard Missile 6 Block I and Standard Missile 2 Block IIIC missiles manufactured by RTX.
The statement emphasizes that these missiles will help Germany “respond to existing and future threats by providing integrated air and missile defense capabilities.”
