High-ranking officials of the US Armed Forces have issued serious messages regarding military intervention in Venezuela.

According to information from Modern.az, US Secretary of the Army Daniel Driskoll stated in an interview with CBS that units of the American army could be deployed in Venezuela if ordered by President Donald Trump and Secretary of Defense Pit Hegsett.

Responding to the journalist's question, “Does the Venezuelan army pose a threat to the US?” Driskoll noted: “They conduct many military exercises in the region. If necessary, we will be ready.”

He also stated, in response to the host's question reminding that the US Navy and Marine Corps conduct operations against drug cartels off the coast of Latin America, that it is not disclosed whether a specific order has been given to the Army regarding this, but “they are ready to join operations when required.”

Late at night, the US Navy released another critical piece of information. An aircraft carrier strike group led by the "USS Gerald R. Ford", the world's largest aircraft carrier, has entered the Caribbean Sea.

The aircraft carrier strike group includes over 4,000 military personnel.  Dozens of fighter jets and helicopters have been sent to the region;
