The analysis of the "black boxes" of the Turkish C-130 military transport aircraft that crashed in Georgia will be completed this week.

Modern.az reports that renowned columnist Abdulkadir Selvi, close to the government, stated this to the "Hürriyet" newspaper.

According to him, within the framework of the investigation, 180 technical parameters recorded in the "black box" are being examined. The analysis is expected to be completed by the end of the week.

According to Abdulkadir Selvi, initial data obtained from the crash site indicates that the probability of external interference is extremely low. “However, like every version, this possibility is also being considered,” he added.

At the TUSAŞ facility in Ankara, a special technical group has already begun the process of opening the boxes and deciphering the data. According to information, the first "black box" contains recordings of conversations between the pilots and with the air traffic controller, as well as audio recordings of the moment the aircraft crashed. The second "black box" records the operation of onboard systems, and currently, the data from these mechanisms is being analyzed.

It should be recalled that on November 11, 2025, a C-130 aircraft belonging to the Turkish Air Force disintegrated in the air while flying from Ganja International Airport to Turkey's Erkilet airbase and crashed in Georgian territory, near the Azerbaijani border. As a result of the incident, all 20 people on board perished.
