The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has issued arrest warrants for 22 people suspected of having ties to the FETÖ terrorist organization.
Modern.az reports that among those detained, 8 are currently serving military personnel, and 10 are military personnel who have been dismissed or retired. The other 3 individuals are employees of state institutions.
According to the Prosecutor's Office, these individuals are accused of having ties to FETÖ's structure referred to as the “secret service.”
As a result of investigations, it was determined that they used landline phone numbers located in various areas of Ankara city to communicate with their curators.
Currently, large-scale operations are being conducted simultaneously in 9 provinces of the country, and the detention of suspects continues.
