Renowned Ukrainian journalist Dmitry Gordon has announced that an assassination attempt is being prepared against him.
Modern.az reports that he stated this in an interview with Russian journalist Stanislav Kucher.
He said that he has not lived in his own home for the past year and a half.
“Because a hunt has been launched against me,” Gordon noted.
According to Gordon, the Security Service of Ukraine had previously detained several groups planning an assassination attempt against him. He stated that he still lives under state protection in Ukraine.
It should be noted that in July 2024, a Moscow court sentenced Dmitry Gordon in absentia to 14 years in prison.
