US President Donald Trump stated that he plans to impose “very strong” sanctions against Russia in the near future and that restrictions on the country's oil sector would not be lifted.
Modern.az reports that he also said he considered November 27 a suitable date for Ukraine to consider the proposed peace plan.
According to Trump, Russia is not interested in continuing the war with Ukraine, but he claimed that Ukraine would inevitably lose the Donbas territories.
However, the US President emphasized that Moscow had no intention of attacking the Baltic countries.
“There is no reason for the Baltic states to worry, because the Ukrainian conflict will be resolved”, - Trump stated.
