A group of high-ranking US military officials is reported to be able to visit Moscow at the end of next week.
Modern.az reports that, according to "The Guardian" newspaper, citing sources in the US, the aim is to discuss the "peace plan" for Ukraine, prepared by Washington, with the Kremlin.
At the same time, within the framework of the two-day G20 summit starting on Saturday in Johannesburg, the leaders of the "Group of Seven" countries and several G20 states will separately discuss the US plan.
European Union foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas warned about the issue, stating that any peace agreement that encourages aggression could create a "very dangerous" global precedent.
“If you simply succumb to aggression, you stimulate new aggression,” Kallas stated. According to her, such a step could also create an "appetite" in other states, like Russia, for neighboring territories.
